Jeffrey Markoff and the International Specialised Skills Institute (ISS Institute) are offering five (5) international applied research Fellowships in the amount of $12,500 each. The aim of the Fellowships are to seek knowledge from overseas successes in lessening recidivism rates in released prisoners and to then influence our criminal justice system to implement these policies.
About this Fellowship
Applicants should be subject matter experts and already have experience working in the criminal justice system. The intent of this Fellowship is to establish best practice in rehabilitating offenders by researching successful models overseas, ultimately leading to lower recidivism rates in Australia and influence government policy. Places that may be considered are Scandinavian countries and certain states in the USA.
