Museum Experiential Design: Immersive Techniques and Approaches

The Fellow has investigated immersive design tools, techniques and approaches being used internationally by museums and their design partners to enhance exhibitions. Through research, visitation, observation, and interviews at institutions across the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, UAE and Singapore, the Fellow gained skills and understanding about utilising immersive design techniques to create meaningful exhibition experiences that heighten visitor engagement. Their report outlines their learnings to the themes of conceptual, emotion, journey, and experience design.
