Nadine Keegan’s Fellowship experience was aimed towards the goal of increasing the utilisation of stained glass in contemporary architecture. The investigation of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau architecture in Europe provided education in how cultural and ideological philosophies have historically made the craft an important aspect of secular architecture, which can be translated to our current landscape in Australia.
Time spent at leading stained glass studios in Germany and Austria also provided an education in both traditional and innovative stained glass techniques. Increasing the skills needed to advance her own practice and the wider industry within Australia.
