A Study in Construction Materials Sustainability and Innovation

The Fellow travelled to Scandinavia to research current innovative practices that will help advance the construction materials industry in Australia. By visiting a number of quarries in the region, chosen specifically as they are the largest in terms of production, effective use of technology (Velde Pukk, Norway), and exercise the most up to date sustainability practices (Bremanger, Norway). The Fellow aims to disseminate knowledge gained regarding practices and technologies that will contribute to the progression of the industry in Australia.
