Katia is a librarian who teaches people how to trace their Italian ancestry. Her Fellowship explores Italian genealogy groups, record keeping practices, and access to Italian archives and memory keeping institutions.

The Fellow was privileged to interview several experts in Italian genealogy including Richard Graziano and MaryAnne Yenoli, Maurizio and Daniela Polelli, Suzanne Greco, Sylvia Hetzel and Gabriella Roganti.
