Community Centered Education

This report is focused on how tertiary education institutions can engage their communities to support positive learnings outcomes for students who experience marginalisation. The Fellow travelled to the USA in late 2024 to study the Community Schools model. This report provides detail about the Community Schools model and the learnings from this trip. It also describes how tertiary education institutions can incorporate aspects of the Community Schools model into their practice and support wider community engagement.
