Synopsis

This Fellowship explored how 3D technologies can support the preservation and study of fashion heritage by bridging digital innovation with traditional craftsmanship. Through engagement with Italian archives and educational institutions, it demonstrated how 3D modelling, reverse-engineering, and digital replicas enhance accessibility, teaching, and conservation. The project proposes a sustainable, inclusive approach to fashion history that connects material knowledge with digital practice.
