Synopsis

The Fellow has investigated the themes and approaches being used internationally in plant dye and dye gardens by indigenous artisans, gardeners and artists that are enhancing and redefining how landscape architects could create a new, omni-positive form of public space. With a focus on areas of the world where this cultural indigenous knowledge is embedded, valued and growing (North America and Asia), they gained insight and an understanding of emerging strategies within plant dye gardens to promote radical healing within public spaces and the profession of landscape architecture as a whole.
