Guy Grossi

2015 Sir James Gobbo Legacy Fellow

Guy Grossi is the recipient of the 2015 Sir James Gobbo Fellowship and one of Australia’s most respected chefs and restauranteurs, Guy Grossi is recognised as one of Australia’s leading authorities on Italian food.

​

Guy is committed to training the next generation within his restaurants and through organisations such as HEAT (Hospitality Employment and Training), passing on his passion for cooking, sourcing ingredients that sustain heritage and artisan crafts, all of which support the ISS Institute’s vision to create and deliver positive social, vocational and economic impact.

Grossi at the GLION Institute of Higher Education in Switzerland on his Fellowship.

As part of his Fellowship experience, Grossi traveled and gained insights from overseas International Hospitality Training Schools to propose a training model in Australia that addresses the modern hospitality industry.
