The ISS Institute is proud to celebrate two outstanding Mason Family Trust Fellows whose recent achievements reflect the strength and diversity of the Fellowship program.

Widely regarded as Australia’s most significant award for contemporary glass art, the Tom Malone Prize recognises excellence and innovation in the field. Hannah’s shortlisted work, Bush Wee, reflects the technical and conceptual development fostered through her ISS Institute Fellowship. During her international program, she refined advanced engraving, sandblasting and hand-finishing techniques, alongside specialised glass painting processes that have become integral to her contemporary stained glass practice.
Her inclusion on this year’s shortlist speaks to the strength of her distinctive voice within Australian glass and her commitment to expanding the possibilities of stained glass in a contemporary context.

We also congratulate Mason Family Trust Fellow Daphne Mohajer va Pesaran on her inclusion in A Velvet Ant, a Flower, and a Bird at the The Potter Museum of Art. Her work, Solar Rope, is presented within this ambitious exhibition guest curated by Professor Dr Chus Martínez.

Crafted from handmade Japanese washi paper, dye, calico and pins, Solar Rope explores growth and intelligence through the metaphor of textile and interconnection. Conceived as an altar to transformation, the work forms a hanging garden of interlocking elements, a visual language of chains, communication and evolving relations.
A Velvet Ant, a Flower, and a Bird brings together works drawn from the University of Melbourne’s collections alongside contemporary commissions to reimagine intelligence as living, interconnected and continually evolving.

We warmly congratulate Hannah and Daphne on these significant milestones. Their achievements exemplify the curiosity, rigour and creative ambition fostered through the Mason Family Trust Fellowship.

I find the information provided extremely informative and easy to understand. This is very helpful not only for students but also for other test takers. It is important that learners and other test takers understand the pattern, band scores and how they should prepare for IELTS in order to be able to move to another country and be successful. It is always vital that individuals know how to read, write, listen and speak well in order to do well on the test. Individuals such as myself can learn many things from this article related to test taking skills by visiting FITA Academy and IELTS coaching in Delhi. Thank you for providing such great and relevant information.
