Innovation in Criminal Justice: A Roadmap to Reducing Recidivism

Criminal Justice

Industry:

Criminal Justice

Synopsis

My journey in advocating for systemic change in the criminal justice system stems from personal experience within the NSW Criminal Justice System. Having completed a 4-year prison sentence in 2001 and surmounted a 25-year recovery from heroin addiction, my dedication to supporting individuals
transitioning out of the justice system has evolved over the past decade.

This evolution has led me from being a prison reformist to an advocate for obsoletism in the justice system. My pursuit of innovative practices is fuelled by a belief that our current punitive model is barbaric, antiquated, violent and obsolete and is unable to provide the solutions required for a modern, mature, healthy society.
